OVERVIEW
Web
of Science consists of high-quality databases that contain information
gathered from thousands of scholarly journals in several areas of
research.
With
Web of Science you can:
- Search
by bibliographic data and by cited reference
- Search
by chemical structure, substructure, and reaction
- Create
sophisticated search strategies that you can save for future use
- Mark
records for saving, printing and exporting
- Link
to the full text of articles or to related content from other
notable information sources
The
three citation databases include cited reference information for
each article. You can use cited references as search terms. A cited
reference search enables you to find journal articles that cite
one or more articles, books, or other publications.
The
two new chemistry databases contain graphical representations of
the structures and reactions reported in journal articles. You can
search these databases by structure, compound/reaction details,
and bibliographic information (topic, author, source title, address).
