Overview — PsycINFO® is a database of psychology literature dating from 1887 to the present. It provides abstracts and citations to the scholarly literature in the behavioral sciences and mental health fields.

Source publications for PsycINFO include journals, books, dissertations, and reports. More than 1,800 journals are covered.

With PsycINFO you can:

  • Search more than 2,000,000 records by topic, author, publication, and more
  • Look up thesaurus terms and classification codes to add to your search
  • View full bibliographic records
  • Link to records in other Thomson Scientific hosted products, including Web of Science® and Current Contents Connect® (subscriptions required)
