Coverage of German Utility Models published before 8 January 2004

Due to a change in the publication pattern of the German Patent and Trademark Office, starting with DWPI update 200406 the publication date captured for the German Utility Models (the DEU data) will be extracted from the bibliographic feed INID 43. For the DEU data published before 8 January 2004, the date of publication captured in all DWPI related products corresponds to INID 47, the date when the document is laid open to public inspection.

Therefore, DWPI and any related products and services will NOT contain data with the following publication dates although, in practical terms, there will be no gap in the data content:
