Mapping
The three pipeline databases have been mapped together by our expert editorial team using careful drug and indexing terms. This ensures accuracy, reliability and comprehensiveness of searching that goes way beyond other “federating search” techniques for accessing and reporting information across multiple databases simultaneously.
The system is highly flexible, and includes a variety of tools to help you manage your results, as well as comprehensive export and reporting options.
Search Options
There are a number of searches you can use in The Pipeline Data Integrator:
- Quick Search
- Guided Search
- Advanced Search
- Browsing
Search Results
There are three options on how your search can be mapped:
- Watch List - contains drug reports you saved for quick and easy access later. You can sort and create reports here, as you would in any search results list.
- Reports - link to drug reports from the individual databases, as well as a consolidated report. View a
combined report that contains information from all of the databases.
- Change Reports - additional functionality associated with the reports enables you to see content that has been updated.
Preferences
You can set your own preferences, including how many results are seen at a time and the type of email updates you receive. You can creating your own customized exports, select what you want to export (each section of the drug report can be exported), and how you want it to be displayed. You can then save this as a template that you can use repeatedly. You also have the option of creating a template that can be accessed by all users.
Export
The Pipeline Data Integrator enables you to create customizable outputs into Microsoft(R) Word, Excel and BizInt. Different export options can be created in the preference section.
Saved Searches
