MEDLINE is the U.S. NLM (National Library of Medicine) premier database of biomedicine and health sciences, covering the fields of medicine, life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences and bioengineering, as well as nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences. MEDLINE also covers life sciences vital to biomedical practitioners, researchers and educators, including aspects of biology, environmental science, marine biology, plant and animal science, biophysics and chemistry.
