ISI WEB OF KNOWLEDGE EXPANDS TO INCLUDE HIGHWIRE FREE ARCHIVE

 

Philadelphia, PA USA-London UK - 03/14/2005 — Today, Thomson Scientific, a business of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC), announced that ISI Web of Knowledge(SM) now offers links to the HighWire Press free archive. HighWire Press hosts the world’s largest repository of free full-text life science articles. ISI Web of Knowledge is the fully-integrated, research environment that delivers a powerful combination of content, tools, and technology, allowing researchers and information professionals to access, analyze, and manage must-have information.

Once all links are in place, users will be able to link directly from any content area within ISI Web of Knowledge to the full text of more than 800,000 HighWire Press articles, which include many of the most cited journals in science.
