Quickly and easily locate key chemical content from patents
The new, enhanced version of Derwent Innovations Index contains features specifically designed for chemistry and life sciences searchers. For the first time, you can use structures to retrieve key data from more than one million chemical patent records in Derwent Innovations Index. And you can also now use unique chemical indexing to cover the full 13 million patents within the database.
New features for chemical searchers
- Structure searching — draw structures using ISIS Draw, and use them to retrieve key chemical content from more than one million chemical patent records. Or combine your structure searches with flexible text search options
- Fragmentation Code searching — search on chemical structure fragments
- Enhanced search results — an icon next to the search results indicates if structures and compounds are available
- Optional links to Documentation Abstracts — link seamlessly to DWPI’s premium value-add abstracts (subscribers only), providing enhanced coverage of chemical patents, including detailed chemical reaction schemes and additional structures and drawings
- Links from DiscoveryGateSM from MDL — DiscoveryGate customers can now link directly from DiscoveryGate to records in Derwent Innovations Index. This gives researchers easy access to integrated patent and chemical information
